My good friend, tech master, pseudo geek, ex-gamer and all-around nice guy Edi Senn has launched got Greyscal'ed as a full-blown site. Using a very functional design, you'll find news, galleries and other fun stuff.
Edi did the backend and CMS for my photo site.
An incredible job, especially if you consider that he did a lot of it
himself and had to put up with me while we were working on it. |

| Hike&Ride 2005 |
|

In case you missed it on my weblog, The Red Bull Hike&Ride is not about the best run or the best jump – it’s about the best four minutes. Seven teams from seven countries gathered in Switzerland to create short films that make a statement about creativity, friendship, having fun, and living life on the edge. Make sure to check it out. The Daily Log galleries have some fantastic shots. My Winter 2005 gallery - "Sn0w5" - should go live this week.

| Showtime! |
I'm happy to report that our second "Heute Nacht" show was a big success!

A great turnout plus some local media coverage made for a fun evening. There were a few different US election-related events in Vienna on Tuesday, but by many accounts, the "Heute Nacht" show was the best place to meet, hang out, listen to some good music and soak up a bit of US "election culture" ... whatever that means. We switched to CNN here and there to catch a bit of news, but as most of you know by now, it took quite some time for the real news to hit the TV screens.
At one point, an Austria national TV crew showed up to interview a few of us for "25 das Magazine," a youth culture show on ORF1. At some point, I may try to post the video. In the meantime, check out Weri's underground interview on Der Standard's web site. Even though it is in German, it's fun to watch.
I'd like to thank everyone for supporting me and coming out for the show!!! Also, the folks at the Top Kino did a great job and made our night very special. |

| Election Night Photo Show |
Hi all,
The second "Heute Nacht" photo show is on 2 November (USA Election Night), and I will be showing a selection of my latest cross-processed shots. I really enjoyed being part of the first show, and I'm looking forward to this. If anything, it should take the edge off of the angst from the elections.

The program starts at 18h00, and my slot is at 21h00. It would be great to see you there, so please save the date!
Tuesday, 2. November 2004 Top Kino, Rahlgasse, 1060‚ Wien http://www.heutenacht.com/
John Megill (FM4) will be the DJ, and there is a bar in the Kino. Entrance is free, so tell your friends to come and check things out. Should be a fun night.
Ciao! ~G~

| Up and running |
If you are reading this, there is no need to tell you that the site is live. But I will anyway, just because I am so stoked that this project is now online!

Every month, you'll find a new gallery on crossprocess.com, and I'll be updating the news/weblog on a regular basis as well. There are a bunch of other features that are in the works, but I thought it was time to let you see what I've been up to.
This site is in its "public beta" phase at the moment ... That simply means that we haven't taken out the Ikea Allen Wrench for the last turn quite yet. There could be a few bugs that went unnoticed during the extensive testing phase (2 hours). If you see any, just think of them as "additional functionality" until they go away.
Mucho danke to Edi Senn from Greyscale.info for creating such beautiful code to go with my photos, and thanks to everyone who has ever waited while I stop to take pictures.
